Setting Up House # 2 & Wedding Stuff...

Well the weekend was good, and busy. Saturday we went to Myers and set up a Bridal registry. It was annoying at times, and we were there for a few hours! I was a little miffed too, because they don't even have it online! Ha! I thought that was strange, and the reason why it took us even longer, was because you HAD TO WRITE Everything down! The barcode numbers and all, so that took us about 5 hours. Hahahaha! Can you believe that? Very annoying. But overall it was fun.

Saturday i also spent some time painting and decorating a bit. It was fun, but in the end i got a bit annoyed. I bought some wallies from Spotlight on Thursday night, to put on the walls and decorate a bit. They are an excellent invention! 100% Better than wallpaper! :-) Not as messy, (my friend Jessica and i have a few wallpaper stories to tell... lol.. and trust me, they were both messy, twice! One not as messy as the other... hehe) So i spent Saturday doing that a little, and got the toilet done, and half of the bathroom. Not sure what else to do yet, so we shall see.

On also bought some fabric at spotlight to cover the chairs with. :-) Here it is.
So the covering the chair project was interesting. Haha Messy too! I had fun shooting in mid air with the staple gun, and then hearing the "clank" of the staple against the window or ceiling or something... hahah! But hey, whats the point in doing something without having a little fun eh? :-) Hehe Was fun.

Here is the Fabric i brought. I have some left over to make some curtains too. :-)

Here are some pics of the happenings on the weekend. Let me know what you think... ? :-)

Chair before....

Chair after.........

Just dont look at the underneath of them! Haha Pretty Bodgy Job... lol .... Hehe Oh well, i guess there is a first time for everything. Dont worry, some turned out better than this! :-)

Anyway, Bathroom... here is a before pic....

And after Pics.....

I bought a new hand towel hook, and towel holder too. :-) Which someone bent... lol

And lastly the toilet... Not finished yet.

I bought this ivy garland, and added some purple roses to it, and some little silver beading. It turned out nicely. :-)

Anyway, thats all for now.. Better get back to it! Hope you all have a great week.

Love,
~* Melissa *~

I can't believe you had to write everything for your registry! How rude Haha You usually have a scanner thing. Myer is a little behind the times. Hahaha And not online? Sadness. Oh, well. I'll go see what you have soon. :-)

Your chairs are so cute! The underneath looks like mine I did. Haha I didn't have a staple gun.:-(
Anyway, I love the fabric.

And the bathroom is so cute! I'm excited for you. :-)

Oh my goodness! You are so creative-- I love your before and after pics... I am not creative in the least, so I'm a little worried about decorating when I get to my new home in May! Plus my fiance is a little picky about decorating, so it could be an interesting experience.

Where did you get all of your ideas?

I've never heard of having to write down the barcodes for a registry... I bet that was tedius! LOL. My mom and I registered the other day at a store in the mall and we easily spent three hours in there. It's fun, but it's time consuming!
