Valentines Day 2008

Well, Valentines day has come and gone for another year! And i hope you all had a good one at that! :-)
We had a good day, (well apart from working.. lol)which reminds me, why oh why dont they make it a public holiday? lol.. they seem to make other days public holidays that are of little significance.. so why not a day where you celebrate the person you love? Makes sense to me right? You should be able to spend the day with them instead of having to put up with everyone else at work. Haha
OH WAIT.... a minute... i know why they dont? ITS TOO MUCH MONEY! Thats why, just like why they wont ban alcohol and cigarettes...Hmmmmmm

Anyway, thats my blab for the day. lol

The Carrington....

We spent valentines evening with our Church Family which was alot of fun. :-) We went to a place called "The Carrington" in Bugendore, which is about a 25 minute drive from our Hometown. It was a nice drive, and the place was gorgeous! A lovely old Homestead in the middle of a small country town, with people you love. What more could you ask for? :-) We had a nice Dinner, and it was nice to catch up with some friends that we sometimes dont get to see very often. :-) So we all had a ball. We got a room to ourselves, with a long table and it was just set out so beautifully! With Candles, table scatters of hearts and little cupids, We had alot of fun acting like children afterwards and sticking the hearts to our cold glasses, lol and flicking them around like there was no tomorrow. hehe Was a good night enjoyed by all!

Here is a couple of photos of the evening. :-) Sorry they are a little dark though...and not very good pics but you get the idea. Hehe!

I hope you all had a good Valentines, and got spoilt.... and spoilt the one you love. ;-)

The restaurant sounds and looks beautiful and very serene. Looking at your blog answered all my questions in my last e-mail to you about what you did for Valentine's day. Looks like you had a ton of fun. Did your pastor arrange for that dinner? You'll have to remind me about the "stay out of trees" remark. Ha ha! I can't remember the joke behind that.
