Our Honeymoon. :-)

Well, well... I am guessing your all wondering about the Honeymoon. :-) It was a beautiful time, spent together and just overall fun! We stayed at a place called Crystal Creek, which is a rainforest retreat and we had a tonne of fun. We were completely surrounded by the Rainforest, and it was quite a treat waking up with beautiful green tree's staring at you through the glass. lol
We relaxed a whole lot, did some bush walking and now it seems like i am reading to go back to work. My husband ( oh i like saying that.. haha) had to go back to work today, and was not looking forward to it. Why do organisations keep incompetent people? Anyway....

Anyway, back to the Honeymoon. :-) We drove through mountainous views, which were so beautiful, and lots of green! Australia is very dry, so to see some green well, it was nice. Hehe :-) Quite a nice change i tell you! We went to some cute Antique stores, on Dan's request. Lol... No, just kidding.. and we also drove up to Australia Zoo. The Zoo is so cute, and it we got to go to a Croc Show too. It was a little sad being there as well. Overall it was a great day, and i got to get my photo taken with a Koala too, which was cute! Something that i have always wanted to do. They are so adorable! His name was Leno i think. Hehe :-) The Crocoseum was great! The birds flew in over your heads, and landed in the middle. The staff there were very funny, and entertaining which made the day great.:-)
We were also going to do a road trip on the Great Ocean Road, and see the Twelve Apostles but we were both so tired from driving around in Brisbane, and getting to Australia Zoo that we decided not too. Oh, and Queensland Drivers are nuts!!! On numerous occasions i had to put my head between my legs, Haha, and not watch because i was afraid of them! They are hoons, and the trucks! Oh my goodness... they go so fast, and it is seriously like they are the only ones on the road!! OUCH!
But, anyway.... enough of my complaining... I have heaps of work to do so need to be going now.:-)
We had a great time on our Honeymoon, and i know that in times to come we will look back and laugh about so many things... :-)

ok, now this is funny... this was one day when we were walking also as the resort had a number of bush walks that you could do. :-) So we decided to go for a walk to the Hammocks. What fun, hammocks hanging over the creek, and you can hear the water running.. how romantic and serene right? Lol.... and just to help the mood along.. I fell in to the creek! Hahaha Can you believe that? Was pretty funny, but let me tell you, i can show you HOW NOT TO Get onto a Hammock. Lol.. And i have pictures to prove it!

So anyway was we walked back to get changed, we came across the resort owners cute little dog! His name was Teddy... and so cute. You know how most dogs like to pick up sticks, well hmm, teddy likes to pick up rocks! Haha I thought that was funny... and yes.. now i am all clucky for a puppy! Why not, 2? Haha :-)

The drive there, was so lovely! Roads lined with tree's... yes, i love simple things. :-) Hehe The old saying, "The Simple things in life are often the best.." Is very true. :-)

Yes, we had to get one of this sign! No speed limit, just Drive to suit the conditions... Oh my. Is that even safe?
A foggy morning, on the way to the zoo. It was so peaceful and quiet! There's just something about getting up so early in the morning... Its pure, and clean.. i know that's weird to say, but that's how it felt. :-) Was beautiful!

A cutesy little lizard. They were just walking around on all the walkways throughout the Zoo. :-) They weren't even in the slightest a little bit scared of people either!

The discussion about them was very interesting, and i remember walking away very informed.. But don't ask me to repeat what i heard, i forget! Haha Must be getting old... i guess.

This was so cool. Her name was Jabagal or something, and she flew into the stadium, when everyone called her name. :-) So cute. Of course i know she had her trainer standing right there, to tell her to fly off. Lol.. But all the same, I'm sure the kids enjoyed it! She was a BIG bird! :-)
Here comes the Crocodile! He was also VERY HUGE and scary looking... I admire people that think they are beautiful, i for one.. do not think that. haha Too scary for me, thanks. They brought him into the stadium, and teased him with some food, until he snapped for it. :-)

He jumped out of the water, and got his food. You should have heard his jaw! You could hear it click, and it kind of echoed aswell... Was a bit scary i wouldn't want to be in between those Jaws! No siree.
That's about it for the Zoo, i will have to scan the photo of the Koala and i into the Computer and post later. :-) Even though its a bad photo. Haha I will share it anyway. :-) hehe

We went to the beach just near the Gold Coast Airport before coming home.. and had some fun with the camera. Being silly, of course. This storm was rolling in and looked pretty impressive, though! Too bad, we had to fly in it. Haha :-) Although, no the flight wasn't that bad. Although, Yes i hate turbulence!
