Projects & New Things... :-)

Hi Everyone! :-)

I do hope everyone has had a lovely week! My week has been great so far. Only having to work two days, was the best part probably. haha. No just kidding.... Hehe

I took Abby to the Vet today, and she was too cute! The vet was looking in her ears, and she was so scared of him ( i will admit, he was a little odd!) But very nice, still all the same. She was cuddling up to me, and whining, and it was just too sweet. :-) She is getting MUCH better at being potty trained too... lets just say slowly... I have started taking her out on the lead ( i seemed to have missed that part in the book!) And i can pretty much tell when she is about to "do her business" inside, so straight outside she goes! So that's been a highlight of my week i suppose! :-) Today, i am cleaning (whats new?) It never ends. Haha And working on some of my projects for my website, and some craft items and things. :-)

Last week, my buddy ole pal Jessica came over and we went thrift store shopping. I just love going to thrift stores, you can easily find alot of bargains there! Call me crazy, as i know some people think thrift shops are just down right lame, but honestly, that's bad luck to them. Each to their own i suppose. :-) That's my blab for the day. Haha

Anyhow, we had a fun day and bought the few items below. We didnt get to go to all of the shops though, so we will definately have to go again soon and see what else we can find!

I thought the soap pump was really cute. There was actually 2 of them! They were $1.50 each, so both Jessica and i got one. :-) I plan on using mine in the kitchen for hand soap. :-)

This vintage silver tray was cute too! A little bit of silver polish, and it will look great. :-) I love the design, on the edge on this. I think this tray was $3.00.

I also got these Ice Skates aswell to paint and sell (well try to!) if they don't i guess i will keep them myself. I think they were $11.00. When i'm done i'm aiming for them to look a little something similiar to the pink ones below, although mine are purple. :-)

My dear Mother in Law, has also made some cupboards for me as well. Storage space is pretty small in our townhouse, so we need more room to store things. :-) I am in the process of painting them now, and then the doors need to be added and they will be completed! We are putting one in the bedroom, and then one in the Study. I will store all my craft type items in the study one, and in the bedroom, clothing and bits and pieces. :-) I am sure they will both come in handy! I found the cutest little knobs to put on them also. Hehe
I will post pics of those later when they are all done and organised etc. :-)

I got this pretty ornate frame as well. :-) I will paint it a different colour, probably white. I thought it was cute! It had one of those weird pictures of Jesus in it. Haha *you know the ones where they make him have long flowing red hair, etc etc!*
This cute wicker stool below, was something that i got off of ebay for really cheap. I need to get a chair pad for it soon, or make one and then i will use it in the living room, or i might put it in the bedroom also. I thought in the living room it would be good to put your feet up on. Haha We never ended up getting a feet rest thing, so this will do for now i suppose. :-) There was a matching one that was the same as the couch when we got it, but we never ended up going back to get it! :-(
We are heading off to Sydney tomorrow to Visit Dan's dad, and Gran so that should be fun! We haven't seen them since the wedding. We are planning on going shopping, and possibly to the beach as well if we get time. Abby is coming along on the trip with us again, Hehe So let's hope she travels well! Hehe

Have a lovely weekend, and i will talk to you all next week!

I hardly remember potty training my dog! I do remember being glad that we had hard wood floors at the time though. I'm not sure what we would do now with carpet... :)

I love all the stuff you got when you went shopping! I especially like the picture frame :)

I put my soap pump in the kitchen, too. Haha The ice skates were $5.
Can't wait to see them finished.:-)
We will have to shop at the other 2 or 3 thrift stores in town soon!
