Yes folks....... thats right.... Lately, i have fallen in love with my slow cooker, or as my american friends better know them as, Crock Pots. :) It has been fantastic lately, and i am REALLY enjoying using it while i am pregnant and have not seriously felt like cooking anything due to the smell of anything can set me off just like that! But with this, its fantastic! You put it all in in the morning, and then in the evening wala, Dinner is done! Its great. :) I am sure many of you use one of these already.... but i am new to this. My mum actually bought it for me, and it has been sitting there for about a year and only been used a couple times! Oops... like so many of my other appliances. I do need to get rid of some!
Now, i am asking my friends out there who uses one of these great inventions, lol and what do you love about it? What are some great recipes that you have tried? I would love for you to pass them on, as i have only really just started using mine, and am still new to it! But i really do love it... :) I generally speaking LOVE to cook, but find this great right now at this point and time in my life not having much time for more time consuming cooking. It just makes life so much easier right now!

Sounds yummy. :-) I'd like to make soup in one, I think.
I love slow cookers as well! Since the weather has been cooling down, I have been trying to find recipes myself. :) I have borrowed a few books from the library and looked at sites on the internet... all very helpful.
One of my all time favourite recipe sites is www.taste.com.au and they have a section of slow cooker recipes.
I make a beef stroganoff in the slow cooker and it is delightful. Please let me know if you would like me to email the recipe to you. ♥ Tash.
We have one of those too, and yes, it is awesome. One of the greatest things ever is coming home and smelling that dinner is cooked, thanks to the Handy Crock Pot. :)
