20th Week of Pregnancy...

I cant believe i am halfway already! :) It has gone so fast, i think. The saying must be true, "Time flies when your having fun!" haha.... Yes fun. Even amongst the aches, and vomiting, and uncomfortableness that i have experienced so far, its all worth every second of it. :) To feel your baby on the inside moving about, that is one of the best feelings on earth. :) I have been feeling considerably well the past month or so. I would definately have to agree that the second trimester is when you are feeling your best! Apart from being a little tired, i have been making good use of the well feeling! I have almost gotten rid of WHO KNOWS how much junk out of the house, so that was a good feeling. Mostly small pieces to do now, which is a huge relief. Almost every cupboard in the house has been cleaned out, and organised. I have also been taking the time to read lots of information, and things on pregnancy and the like. Very interesting! :) The babies room still remains the junk room for now, until we find out what the sex is we wont be doing anything else further to it, except for maybe emptying some stuff out of there! We are going for a 3D Ultrasound on August 1st, so i cant wait for that. Will be so special... I am sure i will cry! :) hehe Hopefully the little one will show us his/her goods then! If not, a suprise is fine i suppose. HahaI would say the most thing i have noticed so far in the second trimester is that i am feeling bloated alot after a meal, so i am having to eat smaller portions, and do not eat as much as i usually would which is helping reduce some of that bloating which has been good. Not fun. Haha

My tummy is starting to get bigger as you can see. Although, not as big as i thought it would be at this stage which is fine! Haha I guess thats because your muscles are not use to being stretched in there, so you appear a little smaller at first. I am LOVING every single kick, and movement... getting to be more and more, which is so neat! As i sit here typing this now, i can feel him/her moving about! So sweet. I have tried to get Dan to feel it a couple times, but he says he cant feel it just yet, dont ask me why. Haha I can perfectly when i put my hand on the outside! Hmmmmm. He has felt it once earlier on though. :)

I had my midwife appt the other night and got to hear the babys heartbeat again. So sweet! It is so fast! We recorded the sound onto a phone, so if i can upload it sometime, i will try. But its so neat! ;)

She said everything is going well at this stage, no complications and nothing to worry about, so thats a blessing. :) I am looking forward to the day when i can hold our little one in my arms!
