I'm back! Yes, sorry.... i know, i didnt post on Friday since i said i would, but anyhoo.... ;) Here i am instead! Have some catching up to do so be prepared! Well, Friday. Yes, the ultrasound. Don't even get me started on that! I arrived 10 mins beforehand as they asked me too. I decided to book the ultrasound in my home town so that my husband didnt have to go very far, and could go straight to work after it. So we turn up, and they call us in. We meet the Sonographer, who to me look liked she should have been retired! I am talking at least 65, maybe more. She looked fairly old to say the least..... Now i am not trying to be disrespectful in any way, but she was a downright DILL! She wasnt very nice, and when i asked questions about the ultrasound and what i was seeing, she pretty much asked me to be quiet and wait until later! So that was kind of rude of her.... Lady, its my baby, i am allowed to ask questions at least aint i? Haha ;) No, anyway... then we asked her about 3 times what the sex was. She held the probe there for about 5 seconds, and said no sorry, i cant really see what the baby is at the moment, it is too small to see right now! I was 17 weeks, and 3 days and from what i have been told, and read that is NOT to early to see what the baby is. Oh well. I guess it just kind of annoyed me, as ultrasounds are fairly expensive, and other people i have heard their sonographer trying to move the baby around, and moving the probe on different angles... etc.. This one. NIL. Anyway, so i didnt get to find out what our little bundles of Joy is... :( So have to wait a little longer! I am planning on going for a 3D Ultrasound in 10 weeks from now, so hopefully they will be able to tell by then!
I have to show this really cute diaper/nappy bag i was looking at. :) It is so cute! I just love it!
What do you think? At first i thought it looked pretty girlish but seeming it has all kinds of babies on it, its for both! The lady that made it even said its unisex. So there you go! I am not sure if i will get it yet though, as she is also looking at fabrics for me in greens, and beiges. See what she comes up with!
Onto other good news! I finally have my Red Ps! Yay! Long time coming i know, but better late than never! The lady that i had for the driving test, was really nice. I am already enjoying being able to drive down town when i need to, and not having to rely on someone else! So its a great feeling and i am glad i have finally accomplished that goal of mine! I drove alone for the first time today down town to run a few errands, and it was raining! The test was fairly easy, except for the reverse parking part. I still need more practice at that though, but that will come over time, no doubt. So yay!!!!!
We are VERY slowly getting the babies room set up...All we have done so far is painted the back feature wall green. The cot and change table are still in their boxes, haha, and clothes still need to be washed and packed away too. We purchased a chest of drawers for the babies room, so that will come in handy for extra storage space also! I was kinda bummed that i couldnt choose a cot setting for the babies room just yet, as i had 2 below picked out for a boy or girl. Guess i will have to decide later!
Boy - I have 2 to choose from. Decided the theme will be teddy bears. They are cute. :-) I guess the green will probably go better since the wall is green! But i also think the beige is cute, and will look cute too! What do you think? :) ( I think i will be choosing from these 2! I think its a boy... Hehe :)
And if its a girl, my theme will be floral of course but peach and green together. :)
I love this set, dont you? Its so pretty!

I am missing Dan like crazy at the moment, he is out of town for business for a few days, and i really hate it when he has to go away!! Arrggg. Oh well, at least i have Abby to keep me company, and it really hasnt been that bad. I have been spending some time with family, and friends, so that always helps!
I better go for now! Enjoy, and i hope your all well!
Till next time, TTFN! :)
Love,
Melissa

Hello Lulubelle, its me mum,
I have already commented about the ultrasound. So, you know my thoughts on that. What a blessing it is to have your P's. To finally turn a corner in life, knowing that it is apart of Gods will for your life. You will notice the difference in what it does for both you and Dan. Take care of yourself, Dan, and of course my little grandchild Praise the Lord for him/her, whatever it maybe, we are always praying for the Lord to allow it to be a healthy baby, but for the baby to be given back to him. Amen to that
Yours in Christ
Mum
YAY!! you got your P's. CONGRATULATIONS!!
I love the bear bedding sets. I think either one will look adorable with your green wall. :-)
