Babys Nursery & Bits All Done! :)

With only technically 4 days to go till our little one is due i have been madly running around getting things organised and cleaned and in order. I am pleased to say, i am finallyALL Done! Apart from the everyday laundry, and cleaning tasks to be done, everything is pretty much organised! So now i can breathe a breath of fresh air, and relax... a little! Haha.

I have had fun getting his little room together, and organising, and placing little things around. Its so cute, looking at clothing and teddys, and newborn diapers! My goodness... those things are so tiny.. but oh so cute! hehe Anyway, see pics of his nursery all complete! I am really happy with how it turned out... and am looking forward to using it in the next couple weeks! So excited now!

Please pray that Baby Searle arrives within the next week!
My apologies for the photos not being that great... we dont currently have a good camera available so i have had to use my husbands mobile phone, which is ok but not the greatest to take pics with!

I went with a Vintage and Teddy Bear theme for his room. :)

Change Area...

His cute lil Crib... Hehe
Of course he will be sleeping in our bedroom for the first few months in his little cradle. Lets hope he at least likes it! Haha....

His little hospital bag all ready to go... :)
Cute pictures on the wall... the 2 on the side, with the white backgrounds i got from my old work. They are really sweet! Vintage baby, with some cute coloured teddy bears. Hehe

His little bookshelf. :) See the cute praying teddy bear? I just thought that was so sweet. Hehe
We have already started a nice little selection of books for him too. Among my favourites, are some Beatrix Potter ones, and some Little Golden Books. Those are so great!

Awwww.... I cant wait to put these on his little feet. Hehe Some of his shoe collection. :)

I am feeling more relaxed with having the house all organised now, and we are ready for him to come! I have also spent 2 days cooking and freezing meals for Dan and I when our little one arrives, which i am certain will come in very handy as i will NOT feel like cooking at all i am sure!. I will be too wrapped up in my little one no doubt... So that was a HUGE relief too! I have read that its a great idea to do that beforehand.

Talk about cooking like crazy! Haha....I do enjoy cooking though. :)

A list of the food i made included some foods below. I have included a couple snap shots of some of the food. Its all safely in the freezer at our Mums place... Thanks for storing it for us!! :)

Potato & Bacon Soup
Curry & Sweet Potato Soup (Tastes very good! first time for this one!)
Lasagne
Spinach & Ham Pasta Bake
Tomato & Onion Sausages with Mashed Potato
Chilli Con Carne
Chicken Satay & Noodles
Spaghetti Bologneise

Ready to be frozen!

So very busy! But glad its all done now...
What a nice feeling to have things all organised i must say.... Now all we need is the baby. Ha! We are VERY excited, and cannot wait to meet him! So please pray that he arrives on time.

COME ON LITTLE SEARLE.... :) Were ready when you are..... ;)

Enjoy your weekend everyone!

Love,
Melissa

Hi Melissa,
You have done an awesome job with the baby room.
Your cooking efforts are amazing too, gosh wish I had done this when both of my girls were born.
I wish you every happiness as you embark on your journey of parenthood.

The baby's room is so cute. Great job! I can't wait to see it in person. :-)
Teddy is already outgrowing his cradle in our room, so he will be moving to the big crib as soon as Ben puts the side back on. So, you never know, you might end up using the cot/crib sooner than you think. Hehe :-)
The food looks great, too. :-)

Oh my goodness, it is getting so close! :)

The nursery is beautiful, what a great job you have done. I am sure you will appreciate having all those meals for when Baby Searle arrives. You will be able to gaze into his darling eyes all day long!

Praying that everything will go smoothly and your precious bundle will make his appearance soon. xoxo
