Where does the time go?

I cant believe that our little baby boy will be a month old on Saturday this week! My how time flies when your having fun! Its true ... ask me how i know? Hehe. The last couple of weeks have been a blurr, and have really gone fast! As i said, i honestly cant believe that he is a month old on Saturday! Which makes me remember, the other day i was walking through the mall and i happened to be holding Caleb. An elderly lady walked past me and commented on what a beautiful baby he was and to make sure i treasure the hugs, and holding him because it goes so fast! Its really unbelievable!

I am really enjoying motherhood, along with all its challenges. At the moment, i would say the hardest thing for me to get use to is getting broken sleep. Being woken up every couple of hours. Hehe He is fairly good, wakes up every 2.5 to 3 hours. Last night he slept for 4 hours straight! So that was good for me, i got some good sleep then at least. But in saying that, after being able to do whatever you want, whenever you want for so long... It takes some adjusting too! Your time is no longer your own and must be handled with care! Hehe But dont get me wrong, i love every minute of it. :) I love being woken up by his sweet little cry, knowing that he needs his mummy. :) I love having those beautiful little brown eyes of his look up at me when he is feeding and hear his little coos and sounds he makes. :) I love singing to him and have him listen so attentively and pulling dear little faces at me :) I love holding his dear little hand with one of my fingers and having him squeeze so tight, and not wanting to let go. I love watching him with his daddy, and his daddy just doting on him. Hehe I could go on all day... But for times sake i will not. You get the picture...... Lets just say, i am enjoying it very much. Its a major life changing event, its true, but well worth it.. :) I cant wait till he gets old enough to say his first words, and walk and interact with us!

On another note, my SIL Naomi, took some really sweet pictures of Caleb the other day. :) What fun it was. He looked so adorable!
