Everyone loves this TV ad right? ..
You know the one. The Baby Love Poo Pouch nappies, where you have the Number 1 ( a wee), The Number 2, (A poo) and the number 3's...(a poo explosion!!!) :) I remember the first time i saw the add on TV, we cracked up for a little while afterwards! Now having a almost 5 months old baby has taught me that, Yes! Poo explosions to sometimes occur.
A classic ad. Why? Because it is so true! All you mums out there know it is!
Ask me how i know????
Well let me tell you! Yesterday, whilst i was doing some things in the kitchen i decided to put Caleb in his bumbo seat. (Great things!) So i set him up on the kitchen table with me so he could watch mama and be amused..(watching mama is very amusing!). The next minute i hear him filling his diaper... yes... You know the sound i mean..and it was ALOT... lol :-) I have used the Baby Love Poo pouch nappies ever since Caleb was a couple weeks old. In the beginning i used Huggies, as i found them to be the most absorbent. Nowadays i just use baby love.I cant fault their nappies, and havent had a "Poo explosion" since i started using them...which is what they are suppose to do according to the ad right???
UNTIL Yesterday. LOL.. there is always the exception to the rule though, is there not? *Smiles*
So you have this:
Exhibit A: A Cute little Caleb sitting in his Bumbo Seat.
Exhibit B: A cute little caleb wearing a Baby Love Poo Pouch Nappy, and filling his nappy with you know what.... lovely stuff...
The End Result you ask?
Exhibit C: A cute little rolled over caleb with a HUGE Mess on his back.. I guess it escaped the "poo pouch" after all! haha
You see, I guess when you combine a Bumbo Seat, with a sitting up Baby, whom is filling his diaper (ALOT), with a Baby Love Poo Pouch Nappy on... it just DOES NOT WORK!
"Mummy, whats all the fuss about?..." (this was after he was changed!) Haha
But at the end of it all.. He was still happy and laughing which i guess even when mummy picks you up and gets poo all over her... You gotta laugh at that right!? :)
So that was my "never a dull moment" for the day. :-)

I know exactly the ad your talking about because I actually saw the paper ad for them before the TV ad came out.
Every time I would tell someone about it, they had no idea – even parents… They do now that they have seen the ad.
