Ive finally been getting things ticked off my HUGE list that i have of projects i want to get done. :)Its a great feeling, isnt it? Most of them are things that dont HAVE to be done,but are fun all the same! lol
I came across an idea from one of the blogs i read to paint an old Silver Tray with Chalkboard paint and to use it as a chalk board. Not only functional, but very cute! :) I originally was going to use it as a Menu board, but i am not sure yet. :) What do you think? I think i may just use it as a cute thing to look at and write inspirational quotes and Bible verses on there every now and then. :) I think i like that idea much better!

Another thing thats been on the list is this island bench that my hubby and i bought on our 1st Anniversary holiday... So a little while ago now! It was ugly old pine, and now my dear husband (much to his dismay) lol has taken a couple of hours out of his time and stained it for me. I think it looks ten times better! Yay! So glad its finally done. It took quite a while to stain too, and a few coats were needed. Staining can be quite fiddlish. Haha Is that a word? Anyway... here it is. :)

im sorry i havent been by lately. i dont visit blogs much lately because im in the middle of transferring all the blogs i read from my google reader to my links page. when i manage to get that done, i will start visiting again. hopefully in a month once were moved. lifes been so busy lately with my husband taking on a new manager position and he had to travel alot. within the last 3 months he has been to toronto 5 times, quebec, germany and vancouver. then we sold our house, looked for a new place, found one, and had to find time to buy it lol and now packing and in the middle of all of that our son has hockey 5 times a week...oh yeah and then theres homeschool. phew, just listing it all out reminds how crazy life really has been.
anyway once it slows down and gets back to normal, i will be back to being a regular visitor to everyones blogs again :)
i havent stopped thinking about ya though and your little baby boy who i think is the cutest baby boy EVER!! :)
