I miss him! This post is a bit of a rant i guess..... just random happenings lately. Still 2 more weeks without my hubby.. :( The past few days have been a bit hard to deal with, and he isnt here. :( Dont you hate that! A lot of things going on at the moment. Family issues, and Dan away, a funeral attended yesterday, and Caleb is sick too with a fresh cold. So its been all happening lately! My hubby has gone away to China for work for a total of 3 weeks. From the photos, i dont think i would like to visit there unfortunately. It looks overcrowded, and just plain dirty. The pollution is unbelievable! He says he feels like he has smoked a packet of cigarettes just from breathing the air in! Can you believe that? Pretty sad... I wonder how many people die from cancer each year there, or even if they do? Hmmmm.....anyway... i miss him so much..... 2 more weeks i gotta keep reminding myself.... 2 more weeks...... lol ;-)

Yesterday was a sad day. We attended my husbands Grandmas funeral. :( I had to drive to Sydney and back all by myself, which was kind of scary.. the multilane roads, Oh boy. Never again. Haha! I am glad the trip home was a little less stressful.
I will miss visiting Gran in Sydney. She was such a Godly, sweet lady. She was in her early 90s. I always enjoyed her company, and she will be sadly missed. I loved listening to her as she told us stories of how she grew up as little girl, and had to work from the age of 13 or 14. I am glad she got to meet Caleb though before she took her final journey to heaven to be with the Lord. I can just imagine her up there now. :) What a sweet thought! I am sad that Dan couldnt come home from China for her funeral, but these things happen i suppose sometimes. She just loved and adored all of her grandchildren, and great grandchildren. I am so glad also, that about 2 weeks before she passed away she sent us a letter telling us that she was very happy with her new living arrangements, and that we could visit anytime. I sent her a letter in return and had some cute pictures of Caleb in it in his little suit. :) She would have gotten the letter probably about 2 or 3 days before she passed away. When Dan and I got married almost 3 years ago now, she left us a very special video message too, which we will treasure forever. :) Its so nice and comforting to know for sure though, that the next time we meet, it will be in heaven! We will miss you Gran. Thanks for all the special, wonderful memories. :)
Gran and I, about to hold Caleb for the first time....so glad she got to meet him. :)

Gran doting on Caleb when he was about 3 weeks old...

It must be hard indeed, without your Husband around! I cried the entire 36 hours I've been apart from my husband since we've been married! Of course the circumstances weren't normal, but still, I admire you greatly! I hope the next 2 weeks just fly by for you!
Thanks for sharing about "Gran". The pictures of her and Caleb are so sweet! :)
I hope that the next two weeks are significantly less eventful for you!! (Although I have my suspicions!) Lovely pictures of you gran too - I'm sure they will become precious memories for your little man as well as time goes by. I bet she's looking down on him now with her angel wings taking care of you all.
Please know too that we are close by and if you ever,EVER need anything at all - just pop on over :-)
