True Friends

Its's nice to know that you are appreciated for who you are isn't it? :) 

It's nice to have special friends in your life. :) Those friends that you know that will always be there for you no matter what, and to have friends that you know you can "grow old together" with so to speak. :) I have a few of those friends in my life. :) And i am so thankful and grateful for each and every one of them. Some friends live far away, some live close. Some i don't get to see very often, but when i do see them we start from where we left off. :)  Friendship is definately something to be thankful for and something not to be taken for granted.  

It reminds me of the famous quote, " Many people will walk in and out of your life, but only true friends will leave footprints in your heart...." It takes work to build friendships, and even more to make them last. If you have some good, true friends why not let them know today? :) 

I recieved a special message from a friend from high school this morning. It really made my day, and brought tears to my eyes. I thought i would share the message with you all. :) She calls it Fate, but i call it God. He knows who we need, and when we need it best! :)

Hi how are you!

I'm just sitting here eating subway & was thinking about you & having a laugh at all the good memories I have of our friendship through high school. We had some really good times together & I just wanted to say thanks for being you & being my friend. It may seem corny lol but these are the things you regret not saying to ppl when the moment comes that you can't tell them anymore. I'm so glad fate put us together & allowed us to walk a certain path together for a few years. I believe we are all products of the people & experiences around us & I'm glad you have helped form part of who I am.

So in all, thanks for just being you & thanks for sharing yourself with me. I'll always be grateful & love you lots and lots! xx

It's moments like this that make your heart smile, and realize there is still some good in a very messed up world. :) I love all my friends, near and far and i am thankful to my Lord above for every opportunity he has given me, and will give me in the future to make friends. :) 

To my friends that read this.... i love you all, and appreciate each and every one of you more than you will know. :) Thank you for everything each of you mean to me! xoxo
