My Bridal Shower :-)

My bridal shower was held on the 23rd of Feb, but sorry i am late with posting about it! As your aware im sure the wedding is in about 3 weeks, and things have been pretty busy! But its been fun to say the least.
A big thanks to Jessica, for hosting it and having it at her house. :-) It was enjoyed by all, and it was so nice for some people to meet that havent met before, and just to relax and enjoy each others company. :-)
My mum and the girls came down from Dubbo, which was good too! They really enjoyed it i think.

We had a theme to the shower, which was a "Room theme"... It was cute. :-) Each invited person had a room allocated to them which they had to buy a gift for. So it was fun to see which people had what. :-) Some people couldnt make it though :-( But we all still had a ball!

We had kind of an afternoon tea type arrangement, with cakes, and Iced tea and what not.

We had some games, one very amusing... everyone got to see Jesse who was the lucky ticket winner put makeup on the Bride to be, Blind folded... In her thank you card, i reminded her that i wont be hiring her to do my wedding makeup... lets just say that! Hehe We also had another game, where you had a bunch of wedding words, eg -photography, bride, rings, ceremony etc and they were all jumbled up and you had to solve them.. speaking of which my Grandma won! that was pretty amusing. Hehe

Although Jessica did have a dilemma with the invitations in the end, but they finally turned up on time so that was all ok. ;-)

The girls did a great job at setting up also, and by the looks of it had fun. What great Bridesmaids i have! :-) They had it in my colours, purple and i even got to keep the Centrepieces, which were some african violets.. and they havent even died yet! When it comes to plants and i... we sometimes dont mix. Hehe Mainly because i forget to water them!

Then we all adjourned inside to open presents, and chat. :-) I got some nice stuff, too. Or as Jessica says, "Some good Loot!" Hahahaha :-)
