Decorating Tid Bits....

I worked on Monday, and the rest of this week i have off! I also have next week off, up until Friday. Hopefully by then they will have found someone for the Job, so i can train them and be gone. :-) I don't mind staying for a bit longer, at least there are breaks in between! So i have been spending my time, cleaning, getting rid of things, and organising. I have also been finishing decorating projects that i have been wanting to do forever! So i am finally getting to do those, which is great. :-) So far i have completed the below to do's on my task list....

Painted these frames that i bought from BIG W, for fairly cheap ($5 each i think). They have some of our wedding photos in them, and they are on the living room wall. :-) They were originally dark wood in colour. I painted them silver, and added some cute white appliques to the Corners that i have here to them. :-) They look beautiful! They especially look good on my dark purple feature wall in the living room. :-) Purple and silver... are so beautiful together! I didn't get before pics, but you get the idea. :-)

I also finally got make myself a matching kitchen theme notice board. I have put it on the Laundry door (our laundry is small and is inside a cupboard basically. Hehe) It turned out well. :-) My kitchen chairs i also recovered ages ago in the same green fabric you see on the Message board. :-) That was fun too! I will use it for important reminders and some photos that i have on my fridge. :-)

I am going to use the noticeboard for important reminders, and a few photos that i like. :-) I have a fridge collage of photos that i am working on too. So that should be getting started on soon also! :-)
I have had these wooden letters sitting in one of my craft trays for a long time! So finally decided to do something with them. A quick spray paint in white, and a bit of glue and we have prettyness. Haha :-)
I always admire this look, i have seen it in a few magazines, and others blogs as well! So i added them to my bookshelf... Can never have enough "LOVE" around eh? Haha ;-)

This is one small corner in the living room, all complete. :-)

I have a couple more projects i am working on also. My dad is coming around tomorrow to help me tidy up the back courtyard. I want to get it all looking better, and weeded before Abby comes home. Hehe We will be leaving on Friday to go and get her! I am soooo excited.. (if you cant tell already! Hehe!)
