This and That....

Hi Everyone! :-) Sorry it's been a while since i blogged last. Been a little busy!
I hope your all well, and have had a lovely couple of weeks! :-) Abby is definately keeping me on my toes. Haha She is getting bigger by the day, and she is so funny! I have figured out that she mainly only barks when she gets excited about something! OR she is playing with you. So i dont think at the moment there is any issues with her barking just because she can, or at people etc. So that's good! Lets hope it stays that way! Haha :-) Thanks for all your tips on trying to get her to stop it, but i will allow her to a certain extent i think. I do like your idea Ayla:-) With the spray bottle etc.. so i think i will use that one! :-) Thanks.
Mel, hmm a bark collar? What is that? Haha Is that the ones that you put over there mouth so they cannot bark?

Anyhoo, lets see.

Dan had to go away for work the other day, for a night or so, so when he got home i had planned a lovely candlelit dinner for he and i. Hehe It was alot of fun putting candles all through the house, and what not. :-) The look on his face was priceless too! I wish i had a camera. Haha Talk about a Kodak moment. :-) Anyhoo, here are a couple pics of the candles etc. It looked very pretty! Dinner was good too. :-)
Sorry about the dark pic, but you get the picture! Haha

Here's a video of the downstairs area all lit up! Haha :-) Aint it purtty with the all the candles. I love candles, my life would be very dull without them! Haha!

My sisters and brother came over a couple of weeks ago too! We had fun, they stayed for about a week! I really wish that they lived closer too, i feel like i have missed so much of them growing up! I kinda feel like i dont even know them as well as i should, if you know what i mean? :-( I was forever asking the girls basic questions, questions that an older sister should know about her sisters! Good grief! Haha But then again, everyone knows i have a terrible memory, right? Help! I am only 23, what am i going to be like when i am 50? Lord help me is all i can say! Like, "What is your favourite colour?" What is your favourite flower etc?"...So i felt terrible about that. So we have said that we will have to write alot more often. :-) So i'm looking forward to that. You can't change the past, but you can certainly learn from it!

We did some craft together, and didnt finish half of the things we wanted too! :-( Oh well, i told them that i would try and finish the projects for them, and give them to them at Christmas time which is probably when we will see each other again. :-) We did some baking together too! Jessica, made some cookies and she did a great job! :-)

Here they are working away on their little boxes that i gave them. :-) They turned out cute! But as always, i forgot to get pics of them... oh well. Never mind. Haha :-)

Jessica's cookies she made. :) All by herself too, so she was pretty happy about that! They were crunchy nut cornflake cookies, with white choc chip bits! The boys got home, and then that was it! None left.. dont ya hate that? Grrrr!!!

We also made some Blueberry Cobblers aswell. I found this recipe on the net, and it tastes so great! It's now one of my favourite deserts! :-)

I better get going! But before i leave, i cant leave without leaving some cuteness for you all! :-)
Have a lovely weekend everyone, and shall talk to you next week!

Isnt she so cute? Hehe Just love her to bits!

Gasp! You don't know what a bark collar is?! It's a collar that goes around the dogs neck and it zaps them just a tad whenever they bark. Works wonders for many dogs!!
Ayla's idea is good too. =)

Your house looked pretty! I bet Dan was happy. =)

That cobbler looks delicious, and it looks like you had fun with your siblings!

We used a bark collar on our dog a few times, but she caught on pretty quickly and didn't need it after about a week. I didn't like it, so I'm glad we don't need it anymore.

Your puppy is absolutely adorable!!!

I miss my little brothers so much. They aren't going to be little when I see them again! I'm trying to get them to come out to visit me, but it would cost almost $1000 for just a plane ticket. I'm not sure what currency that converts to in Australia.... sorry! :) :) Anyway, do you have the recipe for those cookies? They look delicious!

Ben suggested the bark collar, too, but I kept forgetting to tell you. Haha Sounds like a good plan to me. ;-)

I'm assuming the comment above is from my littlest sister? Hehe

A bark collar sounds good everyone, but i am still debating. Haha She was barking at the Vaccuum cleaner this morning! Haha! Funny stuff.
I have concluded though, lol that she just barks when she is playing. haha So hmmm....
Also, Lala i will post that recipe for you later on! :-) So keep an eye out.
And jessica, yes... that littlest sister would be yours. Haha
