Not Happy Jan.... :(

Wow... what a great way to start the 1st of January, 2009 Let me tell you.....

...  It started pretty much yesterday afternoon, and i thought it may have been food posioning.. from something we ate on our trip to Sydney. Dan definately was sick, vomiting, and you know the other thing. :( Poor thing! So we definately ate something that didnt agree with us, but i cant think of what! He spent most of last night on the toilet, and vomiting, and didnt get a good nights sleep at all! :(

So as you can see, we started our New Years day, both being sick! How grand is that? WELCOME 2009! lol...I tell you.. not Happy Jan! Oh well, just a part of life i guess!

It all started yesterday afternoon when Dan and i were taking Abby for a walk up the road to get her out of the house when i started to have really bad stomach cramps, and walking and all didnt help! Because it seemed like everytime i walked, and moved it started to hurt even worse! I was having such a hard time breathing, and everytime i moved my stomach cramped, just below the breastbone. It HURTS SO BAD, i tell you. Its probably the worst pain i have EVER felt, and i am not kidding. It HURTS! 

So we decided to just relax for this morning, and still no improvement with me. So we then decided to go to the emergency department in Engadine, in Sydney. We got in fairly quickly, thank the Lord! We were expecting a HUGE line of drunks, you know with all the sicknesses that people get from drinking too much on new years eve.. but we had hardly no body! Which was suprising. :) So that was great that we didnt have to wait too long. So i go in and see the doctor, and mean while he is PUSHING on my stomach, which HURT so bad. Haha I could have slapped him one! It hurts to even lie down.. :( 

So the doctor eventually said that it could just be food posioning, of some kind... Or even worse, a Stomach Ulcer. : ( So i really hope it is not that! I did some reading on them tonight when we got home, which by the way was terrible! The bumps on the way home, didnt help one little bit. :( I thought i'd have an icecream on the way home, to help it.. you know, just plain old soft serve ice cream. It was ok for a while, but then my goodness, as soon as i got up it started cramping again REALLY bad and i was in tears again. It was a nightmare! You know, Dan even made me laugh a few times, lol and i was in such pain, i was laughing at him, then ended up laughing at myself becuase i was in so much pain, and my laugh sounded funny! That didnt help either... 

So now, i sit here... yes, feeling sorry for myself, not being able to lie down in bed and sleep which is all i WANT to do. :( Tomorrow we plan on seeing if i can get booked in for some tests to a specialist, hopefully it will be a little better by tomorrow! I need to get a blood test also, for a thyroid condition that runs in my family, so i best be getting that done too. No better time than the present! 

So we had a GREAT new years day. :) How about you? LOL... 

Anyway, it could have been alot worse! I know... :)

I will keep you all updated, and let you know what they say, what happens and all that jazz.
