28th Week of Pregnancy....

Its hard to believe that i have only 2 and a bit months to go until our little bundle arrives! :) I guess you know what they say, time flies when your having fun! Haha.... Yeah right. :) No, in all honestly, i am enjoying being pregnant and never take it for granted, for i know that there are some poor souls out there that never can know the true joy of having a little one grow inside them, and welcoming it into the world. I thank the Lord that so far, i havent had any major problems or health issues, and that our little boy is doing fine, and that he is well and healthy. I love feeling him kick and move around... Its such an amazing feeling!

I am currently 28 weeks, based on a due date of 2nd of November, which was the date the 12 week ultrasound gave me. My doc said 28th October, so close enough! Somewhere in between there is when we can be expecting him to arrive. I had my 28 week checkup last night with the midwives at my local hospital, and she said everything is going just fine. :-) I was suprised when i weighed myself though, i havent put on very much weight since my last visit, which kind of worried me but she assured me that that was fine. I think its because of all the walking around i am doing at my day job that i have at the moment, for a little while. We have decided on a name, which we both love and agree on. Haha :) which wasnt hard really, Dan just says, "Na, i dont like that one...." or, "Yeah... i like that one...." simple eh?

My blood pressure is very good, low, and my glucose diabetes test came back very good she said last night. My level was 3. 6 or something she said, which was great. Anything over 6, or 7 is generally bad i think she said. So generally, all is going very well. Minus the carpel tunnel which is VERY annoying, but i am getting through each day, my hands bother me mostly at night, but thats ok... i sleep for most of it! Ha! She also mentioned that his head is down low, and that his limbs etc are still facing forward so he needs to turn around. If he doesnt, my labour will tend to go longer, and i will most likely have alot more back pain towards the end... Not good. So Lord willing he will turn around before his time to arrive comes! I am sure it will be fine, i still have a little while to go! :)

My tummy is really starting to pop out now, and sometimes my back hurts a bit. I guess it will get worse though before it gets better. Haha :) Never mind, it is worth every second of it.... Loving it!Im so thankful for a patient, kind and helpful husband, too. He is the greatest. :-)

Anyhoo, i better go! Pumpkin soup to make, and some mini quiches!
