200th Post & A Giveaway...

Time for a 200th post and in honor of that, i decided to have a little giveaway!

This week has been fairly busy for me.. decluttering, throwing out stuff, all that jazz. I threw out 3 whole garbage bags full of just "stuff" lying around! Its amazing what people keep, isn't it? So i am enjoying getting into the clearing out, its actually refreshing! :) However, the last couple of days i have not been feeling too well also. Had a very sore throat, and feeling sick to my stomach. Not sure what was wrong with me. But i am feeling a little better today, still not 100% but much better than the last 2 days. :) To top it all off, i miss my husband terribly. He had to go away for 3 days for work... and next week, he is gone all week... then in mid aug gone for 3 weeks! Arrrgg... :( I hate it when he has to go away! But at least i have my bubba boy to keep me company, and heaps to keep me occupied! It all helps. :)

Now, for the giveaway... :) Im calling all mamas out there for this giveaway! Thanks so much to all my readers, and my newly found friends, too. I look forward to getting to know each of you better!
To enter the giveaway, all you need to do is leave me a comment on what you think is the greatest thing about being a mama, and why "There is no place like home..." and what it means to you. :)

Once all your answers have been submitted, i will get my husband to choose 5 finalists according to what he feels was the most touching answer (im sure they will all be wonderful!) and then those 5 finalists will go into a box and i will draw out 2 winners. :-) The winners will be drawn on Wednesday (Australian time... lol)

As for prizes, that is still to come. :) It will be something handmade by me though... so stay tuned!

There is no other place on this earth that a woman can make the greatest impact on this world than in the home. It is well known that behind every good man there is a good woman. Proverbs 31:23 says “Her husband is known in the gates, when he sitteth among the elders of the land.” She helps make him what he is as long as she is in the home where she can be a help to him in his needs. Have you ever heard the saying the hand that rocks the cradle rules the world? Oh, how true of a statement. The greatest thing about being a mother is knowing that you can touch so many lives through the work you put into your children. Just think of all the rewards I will get in heaven for the souls that my five sons touch. I could never touch all those lives on my own, but through them the possibilities are endless. Proverbs 31:31 says “Give her of the fruit of her hands; and let her own works praise her in the gates.” The fruit of my hands will be multiplied instead of added. And the best thing of it all, I know I am bringing a smile to my Lord.

Hi Mel.. What a clever idea for your give away ....The Greatest thing about being a mom is to see your children learn to do right and do it! A mothers heart is a walking heart... it walks in Afghanistan where thomas is ... and here in Nampa where Ashlynn lives. "No place like home" is a catchy phrase, but truth is where ever my family is thats HOME!

Heard you were coming to the US .. but not now... maybe next year?

Right now the greatest thing about being a mom is getting to kiss his sweet neck all day long! Also, I was in Walmart the other day buying diapers and I thought to myself that it is so fun having diapers in my cart! I know they are expensive but there was a time I didn't know if I would ever have diapers in my cart so I am enjoying all the little things. :)

There is no place like home because that is where my husband and son are. It doesn't matter if we are physically in our home, where ever they are then that is home to me.

Hi Melissa, sorry to hear that you haven't been feeling overally well of late (that I can relate to at present) but hope that you can continue to get better soon. How is your decluttering and bootcamp projects going?
