Housewife Bootcamp - Week 1

Ive decided to take part in this Housewife Bootcamp i came across on a new blog i came across just recently. :) I know how hard it is to get motivated sometimes and do things that need to be done (i tend to procrastinate ALOT, which is really starting to bug me!!!) So now its time to get down and get on with it! I have SO many things to do i just feel overwhelmed sometimes, and i finally just decide to put it off until later. But no more doing that! I cant stand it anymore! I'm finding too, now that Caleb is alot more mobile with crawling around and exploring his new little world, i am having to stop what i am doing every 5 minutes and taking him away from things (mainly powerpoints lol) that he shouldnt be touching! So something that took me half hour to do before, takes me a couple hours now! Haha BAH! I just need to manage my time better and then, i am sure it will seem like there are enough hours in the day!

If you would like to join in on the fun, all you have to do is post about 5 things that you would love to get accomplished, and done this week. Every Tuesday, (of course i am late, lol) you post of your progress and tell us what you got done, and what you didnt get done. :) Dont forget to encourage others, and tell us how you went! You can link up here at Laurens Blog :)

1. STRAIGHTEN PANTRY
tidy pantry and go through and throw out anything that i do not use anymore!

2. PUT AWAY & GO THROUGH ITEMS
simply put things away, and have a home for everything! Haha... And go through items, and list more things on ebay that i do not need/use anymore that i can sell.

3. COMPLETE OVERHAUL
of the Laundry Room! It has become a dumping ground, and has so much JUNK in it. So time to redo, organise, and fix it up to look lovely, so i will actually WANT to do washing. ;) (Yeah right, not much is going to do that! Hehe Just kidding....)

4. WEED & TIDY
Courtyard. This may prove to be a little difficult, with the cold weather we have been having! But i will try! :)

5. CATCH UP ON WASHING
Time to catch up on all folding, and putting away of washing! Even getting rid of clothes that i do not wear/need anymore!

So yes, wish me luck! As you can see i will have my work cut out for me! Plus having all of the other day to day and regular chores to do! AND having a crawling baby to chase after all day. Haha ;)
With that being said, I better get cracking right now while he is taking his morning nap! :)
Good Luck to all the others out there, too! :)

See you next Tuesday for Progress report (and hopefully pics to show progress!)

Haha, your hilarious – bootcamp!

It’s a good idea though, although I want to give you a tip.

I know you are at home, so don’t go to a day job or anything but being a mother is your day job but I think you are setting yourself too many things to do.

Try maybe doing the pantry, and the washing this week and anything else you get done is a bonus.

Oh and if you have any baby items that you are wanting to get rid of let me know!

Im exactly like you though, I have all these things I want to do and its not that I procrastinate as much its that I don’t have the time for it.

I know because you only have a two bedroom house you can’t do what I did but the other weekend I dumped everything (and I mean everything) in the computer room and started from there.

Now I have even started tidying up the computer room as well. It makes it easier to work from one area, I find anyway…

This just looks overwhelming! I better get off the computer and start on my projects - beginning with cleaning the kitchen. :-(
