Getting to know me ~ Christmas Edition!

1. Wrapping paper or gift bags? I prefer wrapping paper, with lots of cute ribbon, and curling ribbon etc! J It looks so pretty. Hehe 

2. Real tree or Artificial? I would love a real tree, but we have an artificial one that looks kinda real i think. Haha Does that count? J It was the best looking real one we could find! But i think a real one would kinda irritate me aswell! Imagine all of those needles everywhere from it! I got enough from the fake tree, let alone a real one! 

3. When do you put up the tree? This year was our first time putting it up together, but i think from now on it will probably be around the 1^st of Dec from now on. ;)

4. When do you take the tree down? I’d say a couple days after new years day. J 

5. Do you like egg nog? Yes. It is ok i guess. Haha J I think it is more of an American tradition to drink that at Christmas though, not Australian. 

6. Favorite gift received as a child? Hmmm thats a tough one! Probably a bike i got when i was around 8 i think. J It was purple of course, and had white streamers on the handlebars, with aa ringing bell. Haha  I loved it! That was until one day my brother and i decided that i would sit on the handlebars, and he would ride it. Then we would travel VERY VERY FAST donw our street which was fairly steep... i then came flying off head first, hit my two front teeth on the road and got grazed from here to tim buk too. It hurt i tell ya!!! Wasnt impressed... I do think at least though we could laugh about it about an hour afterwards! Hahaha! 

7. Do you have a nativity scene? No, i do not. Would be kinda cute to have one, i do like them but not that much. J

8. Hardest person to buy for? Hmmm Dan i am finding! Haha Men are so hard to buy for i think....

9. Easiest person to buy for? Female members of the family. HahaJ And friends i think, and Kids. J Most of the time! You could give them a cardboard box, and they’d love that even! Haha

10. Mail or email Christmas cards? Both usually. J But i do prefer sending cards.

11. Worst Christmas gift you ever received? I have never really received a gift that i didn’t like. Haha J I guess the most boring would be underwear and stuff like that. Haha J 

12. Favorite Christmas movie(s) Hmmm! Well i think it would have to be “Its a wonderful life!” J Im looking forward to watching that at Christmas time! J

13. When do you start shopping for Christmas? Well if i had alot of shopping to do, which i don’t. Haha I would start hmm probably at the end of November, beginning of Dec. I hate to leave things to the last minute! Next year i am hoping to start very early on and just save the gifts until the end of the year! I think so many people plan on doing that, but life is just so busy we never get around to it! Haha J

14. Have you ever recycled a Christmas present? Yes, lol doesn’t everyone? Especially bath products etc, if you have so many, why not pass them onto someone else to enjoy? J

15. Favorite thing to eat at Christmas? Hmmm, my favourite thing would have to be a baked dinner on Christmas day. That’s kind of like a family tradition for me. J I love love love trifle too! Also a family tradition too. 

16. Clear or colored Christmas lights? I prefer clear ones. J They look so much more neutral and pretty! If you could get purple ones, i’d be in that! Haha

17. Favorite Christmas song(s)? My all time favourite is “O Holy Night...” I love that song. J I love the tune, and the words. J Next would probably be Silent night.

18. Travel at Christmas or stay home? Well usually travel around, but this year we are staying home for our first Christmas together as a married couple. J For breakfast at least, and the morning. Then we are heading off to Dan’s mums house. I would like to try and get down and visit my family after Christmas some time if we have time. We shall see i guess. J 

19. Can you name all of Santa's reindeer? Haha No! Only some, Dasher, Dancer, Rudolph, Vixen, Commet? Was that one? Haha J Prancer.. Hmmm. Thats it!

20. Angel on the tree top or a star? A star. A big pretty silver sparkly one. J 

21. Open the presents Christmas Eve or morning? Christmas morning. 

22. Most annoying thing about this time of year? The commercialization and materialism. I won't deny that is my majoyr pet peeve with Christmas. It isn't about Christ and giving any more; it's all gimme, gimme, gimme. And I detest the selfish shoppers who are rude as all get out.

23. Favorite ornament theme or color? I love all ornaments. J I do love sparkly ones though! Hehe 

24. Favorite dinner for Christmas? I already mentioned that, A baked dinner with Chicken, turkey, and ham. Baked potatoes, carrots, onions etc all that good stuff. J Some times we have salads and stuff seeming it is summer and all. Haha But i still love the baked dinners. J My fav! 

25. What do you want for Christmas this year? To be honest, not much. J Just little bits and pieces. Haha 

26. Do you bake lots of goodies during the holidays? Yep! This year i am... Cookies, white choc truffles, toffee, fudge and shortbread! Fun fun. J 

27. Do you decorate different rooms of your home? Nope, this year just downstairs. J Maybe in the future, more rooms will be. J 

28. What decorations do you put outside? Hmmm, i have a wreath on our front door, some little silver wording saying “Peace, and Noel” on them with silver bells, and a small little reindeer. J Thats about it. Haha J 

29. How do you spend Christmas Eve? Well this year, i am not sure what we are doing. I would just love to relax, and eat snacks, and watch a Christmas movie! That would be fun. J Have to think about that. Maybe playing some games! J 

30. Is Christmas your favorite holiday? Yes, i would say so. J
